Q: What's with the pineapples? When did that start and what is it about?

A: So I started shootings pineapples with my friend Cyrus (@hawaii_aquaholic) in early 2017. I was initially inspired by some of the photos he created with his pineapple and wanted to see if I could take it to the next level. I started experimenting with pineapples underwater, pineapples during sunset, and pineapples in the air. I loved how the pictures turned out and some of my best work is with pineapples. People have also really enjoyed my pineapple pictures and I have gotten more exposure because of it. My love for pineapple photography has grown immensely and I’ve been getting creative with my pineapples ever since.

A: So I was out shooting with my friend Matt (@mq_raine). We set up our cameras facing the spot where Matt was going to spin the steel wool. Then I used one of Matt’s Lume Cubes to light up the palm trees behind him. He spun the wool, then we reviewed the photos and I got this perfect shot of Matt spinning steel wool on the beach.
