Q: What's Your Hometown?

A: I was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii.

Q: Where do you live now?

A: I currently live on the North Shore of Oahu.

Q: What's something about your hometown or current town that nobody else knows?

A: I think that’s a rather impossible question to answer, especially with all of the media and social platforms these days, nothing is a secret anymore! However, being that we live in “paradise”, most people would never expect it to snow here. But it does! Every now and then, Hawaii island will get a big storm which leaves the summit of Mauna Kea blanketed with snow.

Q: What's your full-time profession?

A: I do photography for a living and recently started to do video as well.

Q: How did you get into photography?

A: My passion for photography began when I discovered Instagram. I would see all these cool photography accounts and wanted to get good photos as well.

Q: What's in your camera bag right now?

A: Sony A6500, Mavic Pro, Tokina 24-70 f2.8, Tokina 11-20 f2.8, Tokina 10-17 fisheye, Canon 50mm f1.8, Gnarbox, 2 Lume Cubes, GoPro Hero 6, GoPro Karma Grip

Q: What inspires your work?

A: I like to think outside of the box and try to figure out ways to shoot things that no one else is doing.

Q: Can you share any insights or advice to other photographers?

A: Get out often and explore new places and subjects. You can never take too many photos. Just make sure you have sufficient memory space!

Q: If you could have a superpower what would it be?

A: If I could have a superpower, it would probably be to teleport, so I could experience all the different places around the world without the hassle of TSA and layovers!

Q: What's your favorite quote or mantra?

A: Don’t take it too seriously. If photography becomes like a job and not fun, think about it again. Just have fun and do what you want to do. Do what makes you feel good.

Q: Any exciting shots/trips planned?

A: I have many exciting shots planned in my mind, the hard part is…finding the time to get it done! I’m looking forward to going to Japan soon!
