Great little stand, works with other products, a tiny bit tricky at first.
I want to start by saying I really like this stand. I own the Mobile Creator Tripod, which is great on its own, but limited on height because it's generally meant for handheld use. Because I also film while sat at a desk, I needed something that could be set higher to be face level - enter the 19 inch Tripod Telescoping Light Stand.
I only had one challenge with this item and it was trying to figure out the locking mechanism as it extends. There are small holes and an image that tells you to twist clockwise to lock, so I expected something to click into place in the holes, but eventually I figured out these rely on friction to lock in place. I guess this is better because it gives you more options for height.
This thing is fantastic in a number of situations. Not only can it provide better lighting angles behind my laptop when I'm doing video calls (the suction cup mount is fine but sometimes produces unflattering angles), but my phone isn't so so heavy that I can't also use the 19 inch tripod as a higher stand when filming.
One of the beautiful things about Lume cube products is that they're well thought out and designed. All of the tripods and stands I own are lightweight and comp apart, but what's great about these items is that everything has 1/4" screw male and female ends so that you can combine them for your needs.
