The biggest differences between the two ring lights are the types of power sources and light output. The Cordless Ring Light Pro has a built-in lithium ion battery, whereas the 18" Ring Light is powered via AC and does not come with batteries. If you want to power the 18" Ring Light via a battery, you will need to purchase two external NP-750 batteries separately.
Also, the Cordless Ring Light Pro has an output of 1500 lumens, whereas the 18" Ring Light has an output of 528 lumens. While both are portable for on-the-go use, the Cordless Ring Light Pro is also substantially lighter than the 18" Ring Light.

I received my light yesterday and immediately set it up and started photographing items to add to my website. The light was great and gave me the proper lighting that I needed to showcase my items without any problems. I love the ability to adjust the lighting from warm to cool and not have shadows. Honestly this light is amazing!!! I didn’t use the stand I actually bought a wall arm and attached the like to it and it’s so bright and gives even brightness which I need!!! I’ve gone through so many ring lights from Amazon to other brands and this is by far the best one I’ve bought so don’t think about getting it. Do it!
