Her Story
After building on two decades of expertise in the professional lighting industry, Kelly Mondora knew she was ready to take her vast knowledge and passion for innovation and embark on her own creative journey. During her research — and after a request from her daughter for a new makeup vanity mirror — she quickly discovered a gap in the market.
"I was shocked by the low-quality lighting products we found," Kelly shared. "The color accuracy was off, the brightness was weak, and it was clear that lighting technology hadn’t evolved much in decades."
In 2021, Kelly took matters into her own hands and launched Ilios Lighting, introducing her breakout product, The Beauty Ring Mirror - the world’s first LED makeup mirror designed to replicate natural daylight by 98%. This innovation quickly set a new standard for high-quality lighting in the beauty and creator industries, combining precision technology with elegant design.
