EXCELLENT

I have the kit and use it all the time. I'm very picky and need to perform 110% when taking photos or video. These are reliable and easy to move around with. I could use another one to be honest! Definitely recommend them for professional work.

Get at least 2

I’ve had a studio edge for awhile, and decided to get a second. It was a good decision. I also have Profoto strobes, but higher clean ISO cameras allow for continuous light to be easily used. My question was could flat panels be as soft for portraits as a soft box. The answer is yes since you can put flat panels close enough to the head to illuminate a broader area. The flat panels tend to relax an amateur subject better than large soft box’s, to say nothing of the ease in set up for portable lighting.

Looking closely at the eyes in the photo you can observe the half setting of the panel on the left via the eye reflection. On the second closeup I chose to simply to a dongle highlight.

A beautiful lighting solution

The Studio Panel is elegant in its simplicity, and very powerful. A joy to use. And very portable. I do wish there was a mounting screw on the long side of the panel so that it could be used as a strip light with the barn doors. A suggestion, not a complaint.

Studio Panel=Dream Light

As a wedding photographer, I've had so many "video lights" for my weddings (Godox, Genaray, Light Panels), for lighting up jewelry, lighting decor in dark receptions, the dance floor and mainly to use for grand exits (car, sparkler, boat...) and not kill the ambient light. I also use these lights for lighting portraits of the bride. I'm happy to write that the Lumecube Studio Panel gives the softest light of any of the panels I've tried and I LOVE it. I use it now on the bridal portraits when the room is really dark and you can see how it allow me to incorporate soft window light while lighting up the bride so nicely...look how soft that butterfly shadow is. But the main thing about this light that is so absolutely beyond wonderful is its portability and ease of use. You pull it out and turn it on, that's it. Other lights you have to fiddle with batteries, put wires into odd places, assure the batteries are turned correctly, and they are difficult to hold and or unbalanced or heavy (hi Godox!), well this one is quick and easy and on a wedding day when you need quick light there is no setup, you have 10 seconds to get the shot and this light will help you do that. This light is now an essential part of my gear! You will not be disappointed with your purchase!
