The biggest differences between the two ring lights are the types of power sources and light output. The Cordless Ring Light Pro has a built-in lithium ion battery, whereas the 18" Ring Light is powered via AC and does not come with batteries. If you want to power the 18" Ring Light via a battery, you will need to purchase two external NP-750 batteries separately.
Also, the Cordless Ring Light Pro has an output of 1500 lumens, whereas the 18" Ring Light has an output of 528 lumens. While both are portable for on-the-go use, the Cordless Ring Light Pro is also substantially lighter than the 18" Ring Light.

such a good light! I own a tattoo studio and this one is way better than the other brands we use. batteries could last a bit longer but there's a power cord option so not a big deal. would def recommend!
