The tripod stand is just what I needed to hold the Lume cube lights. Very happy with them once I figured out that one needs to turn the top to lock the legs open. Great design@
I’ve had this tripod for over a year and a half now. It accompanies me on my night photography camping trips and I use it primarily with my Lumecube Panel Mini to light up the foreground of my images.
Here’s what I love about this product:
• Very well designed and built. I’m a sucker for a well-engineered product.
• Compact and light. It has taken permanent residence in my camera duffel.
• Flexible in its use. Both the variable height and ball head provide maximum adaptability for most any situation.
I like it so much that I’ve now purchased the 50” version and will have to figure out a way to incorporate it into my future adventures.
In the uploaded photo, I’ve used the tripod and the mini to illuminate the rock hillside behind my tent last month.
This stand is the right size for lighting table top subjects with the smaller Lume Cube fixtures, like this 2024 cicada.
